"Art is only art when it is synonymous with living."-Alexander Girard

Went on a lovely trip to Santa Fe this weekend. Fell in love with the International Museum of Folk Art, especially the Girard collection. Actually, I had seen the collection about 16 years ago and was so amazed at the size and that Alexander and Susan had collected all of these treasures themselves. I got lost inside each diorama; every scene escape worthy.

I particularly like this quote I found on the museum's website:
